Dear Arpita,

You must be amused at my choice of the name of this blog which would document all my ABOUT MEs. Well, you happen to be the one who pestered me into doing this .. you (and Ritu!) alone happen to be bothered with reading my About Mes regularly (u may have noticed, most of these are addressed to the pair of you)…

In fact, It’s almost a crazy thing to do—to compile and document my About Mes—already products of a Crazy exercise themselves!! .. but dunno why you find them worthy of being documented –in a BLOG to top it all !!.. (many wud be of the opinion that one-time reading of these is torture enough!)..

Although, personally I’m kinda moved (whatdotheycallit…

TOUCHED ,infact!!) by the kind of interest you have shown in my otherwise insipid, yawn-inspiring life :D .. but then you have always been like that haven’t you.. laughing at my non-humorous PJs even before I articulated them… being my Source of strength and half of my army in all my crusades over utter NON-ISSUES…

Anyhow.. I remembered my promise to you .. n utilized this small break from embeeay *shudder shudder –semi-paralysed* .. to compile as many about mes I could find(with the display pix -many are lost, somehow!) *u see, I thought since u were really intent upon making me do this .. n my days seem to be numbered, thanks to a phenomenon called MBA, procrastinating it further did not seem like a good idea..*

For those of you, who "care"- those whose hearts bled with the medicos on the streets, those who sought Justice For Jessica, n those who have the guts to say .."I care"..
We're starting a small campaign -we're NOT just some "silly" APJ Kalam fans..but bcoz we know that he is one of the last rays of hope in this country. He is the man who has dared to be more than a RUBBER STAMP, has a "vision" ..that goes far beyond his own CHAIR, n is the one who dares to say "NO".
Our campaign( meaning mine and yours)..calls for no taking to streets, but just spreading the word--understanding n coveying to otehrs,the gravity of the situtaion..n making ourselves heard in preventing THEM from making a mockery of the sanctity of the RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN!!..WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE---remember, we too have college, are juggling between classes n r trying to make a career ..it's equally hard for all of us...but we REFUSE to work for a country that signs its international deals in the name of Mr. XYZ from Bhatinda, with 10 masala movies to his credit!!..would u?? Well, recently a fellow MBA aspirant refused to sign on our campaign sheet- wich is nothing but a mere show of solidarity- NOT A BINDING AGREEMENT!!- WHILE expressing solidarity with OUR cause(not his) ..with a tinge of sympathy as tho, HIS great President lives somewhere on Mars!! well,shame on the FUTURE MANAGERS of this great nation who cannot evrn show the guts to lend their voice to a NATIONAL CAUSE!!..of course u mite have other capable candid8s in mind, but to say..."I dont know n I dont care"..!! well remember, next time the government of india passes a bill curtailing freedom of expression (bye bye ORKUT N BLOGS!!)..n Mr XYZ gleefully signs on it( it has happened during the EMERGENCY)..u shall have no right to complain--u surrendered it URSELF!!

A Day in the life of a MISFIT:

Day one… slept thru two classes ..right in the Profs’ faces--- prompting them to launch into sermons abt how “MBAs cant afford luxury sleep..” while I SLEPT merrily… in beatific oblivion of the fact that other people had OPEN EYES n they were watching…

Day two… reached late for first class… preferred to make a dignified exit myself, to being kicked out…so SKIPPED the first lecture on the very second day of college…

(the taunts abt my SLEEP DEFICIT wont stop for a longg time..)

Day 3…late for first class again .. the stupid Pepsi bottle saga to top it!!..

N then of course, one fiasco after another in the classroom ….

CASE STUDIES… L .. such a drag!! … what have I landed myself into!!

A course in MISMANAGEMENT is more like my cup of tea!.. not THIS!!!

But I guess the fate is stamped, sealed.. n DONE !! … maybe my purpose in life was just this: to make others feel better abt themselves by looking down at where I am !!

….. as I have told you many times before Arps, the best part about writing these about mes is… it is a good cathartic exercise wherein I can pour my heart out..while ensuring that the junta is not really privy to my personal life
